Why We Do This

URF was built by people who've spent decades in RF and a big part of our mission is supporting the research that pushes the field forward. From mmWave research, 5G/6G testbeds, to antenna characterization, most of these live in academic labs.

We want graduate students testing new antennas, professors building 110 GHz benches, and lab managers ordering for the semester to have access to the same high-spec parts as commercial buyers without grant funds getting eaten by markups.

FAQ

Can I use the code on multiple orders?

Yes. The code doesn't expire while you're an active student or staff member.

Are any products excluded?

No. The 10% applies to your full order for all items in our catalog.

Can my lab share the code?

The code is tied to your verified .edu account. If your whole lab orders frequently, we can set up a lab-wide arrangement. Please email support@urf-us.com and we'll work something out.

What if I leave the institution?

The code stays valid for any orders you place before leaving. If you move to a new institution, re-verify and we'll issue a new code.

Do you discount for K-12 / international institutions?

Right now, U.S.-accredited institutions with .edu emails only. If you're at a K-12 in the U.S., and would like to be considered, email us and we'll evaluate case-by-case.
